After installing the Jomi template for the Eltham Model Railway I noticed that there was always the text “TPL_WARP_EDIT_ARTICLE” at the bottom of each article, as can be seen in the image below.

The Problem

TPL_WARPscrnThe problem is the language constants have not been defined properly, or at all.

In the folder /language/en-GB/ there should be an INI file for each template and module installed. The GB means English and there should be a folder for each language installed.

The Fix

To fix the problem I copied another template’s INI file as en-GB.tpl_jomi and edited it as can be shown below. The jomi corresponds to the template folder name, that is jomi in this case.

; Joomla! Project

; License GNU General Public License version 2 or later; see LICENSE.txt, see LICENSE.php
; Note : All ini files need to be saved as UTF-8 - No BOM

In between the quotes can be left blank to remove the text completely or you could put something more meaningful like Edit Article for example.

Make sure you save the file back to your server, and check the Joomla front end to make sure the fix has been effective.
