Warning: The following section involves editing your system registry. Using the Windows Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems requiring the reinstallation of your operating system and may lead to the loss of data. Use the Registry Editor and the following directions at your own risk.
In Microsoft Windows XP, the right-click context menu in Windows Explorer contains an entry for the Send To command but not for Copy To or Move To (Figure A).

I discovered one of my PC's could not be accessed from the BackupPC application running on my Linux machine. Right clicking on the C drive did not show a Sharing and Security tab.
Before beginning make sure your user has administration rights.

Restore default NTFS security settings |

To restore Windows 2000/XP’s default system security you can execute following command:
secedit /configure /cfg "%systemroot%\security\templates\setup security.inf" /db waisaw.sdb /verbose
Note that file “%systemroot%\security\templates\setup security.inf” must exist. |
